This is a magnesium timing cover to fit SOHC M30/M40 Norton Racing Internationals (pre-war) and pre-Featherbed Manx Norton engines. As with all parts we produce, these castings have been maufactured to be as close as possible to the shape and look of the original castings, and even have the original casting number, in the same position as per original. Complete with bronze oil pump bearing fitted

This is the phosphor bronze bush fitted to all SOHC inner timing cases, which is the bearing for the oil drive gear. These bearings are often badly worn on original engines - easily identifiable because excess oil will collect in the outer timing case space (the area containing the magneto chain), Ours are made to the original dimensions and pattern iincluding inner oil scroll.  Price is each

This is a 1:1 (non-reversing) rev clock gearbox that can be fitted to any of our outer timing covers - and most other British motorcycles using this style of rev clock mount. They are excellent quality - and although not of the 1930's/40's bronze type (which are unobtainable now), they are of the slightly later design also fitted to British sports/racing bikes in 50's/60's and definitely look the part.  UK manufactured.  See Detail Listing for more information.  Price is per unit

This item is for a 36" length Rev Clock Cable - of the pre-war type, that were rubber sheathed - for the ultimate in originality on your pre-war Inter or competition bike, if fitted with a Smiths Chronometric Rev Clock.  We take a good quality proprietary rev clock cable, and add our own oil resistent black rubber sheathing, and stainless steel ferrules - the finished result is that authentic pre-War look.  See detail listing for more information. 

This item is for a 36" length (Chronometric) Rev Clock Cable - of the correct length for Post-War Inter and Manx models with the rev clock drive on the front timing cover and Tele forks.  This is a good quality UK sourced cable - but with standard speedo cable covering (i.e. not the original pre-war rubbed sheathed variety, which we also offer).   Price is Each

This item is the 15 tooth magneto sprocket that was fitted to most Norton single cylinder models from the 1930's to late 1950's (i.e. SOHC, OHV and SV models) and fits on the end of the magneto shaft (either Lucas Magdyno or BTH KD1 fitment). These items are just the same in profile as original sprockets - the magneto sprocket being recessed, just as the original Norton item.  Price is Each. 

This item is the 15 tooth Norton single magneto chain sprocket on the engine side - that drives the chain to the magneto sprocket, it fits on the end of the oil pump drive gear (SOHC models) or inlet cam (OHV and SV models). These sprockets are manufactured to to the original Norton profile, and were as used on most Norton single cylinder models (i.e. SOHC, OHV and SV singles) from the 1930's to late 1950's.   Price is Each.

Genuine Renolds magneto chain and one soft link, to fit SOHC 500cc and later 350cc engines. Note, these chains should use a riveted (soft link), not a circlip link. Can also be used on later OHV/SV models.  See detail listing for more information. Back in Stock April 2025

This item is a genuine Renolds 'soft' link to fit a magneto chain. This type of rivetable link is always preferable to a 'split' type link and would have been fitted orignally. All our Norton magneto chains come supplied with one of these 'soft/rivetable links, but we also sell them separtely here - and it is often handy to keep a couple in your toolbox.  See listing for details.  Price is per soft link and plate.

This item is a Renolds 'split' link to fit a magneto chain. 

First and foremost i would say it is not recommended to fit a half link (or link and a half as it actually is), but I know that on some rare occasions you may have an unusual timing covers where the chain can either be too slack/tight with standard links. Therefore this item is for a Reynolds link and a half to fit Norton magneto chains

Commercial quality ThreeBond silicone gasket mateial, Type 1215 - 250g Tube and applicator - in Grey colour.  I have been using this high quality silicone sealer for gasket application for about 20 years - and in my opnion there is no finer silicone gasket material available.  This 250g tube should last most restorers a good period of time.  We also sell Type 1207B Black silicone sealant in 100g tubes.  See listing for more detail.  Price is Each

- This is the bronze quill/plunger used to feed oil to the Big End Bearing, fits all SOHC engines, and those pre-38 OHV/SV engines with external round nut on timing over. Note : These plungers are NOT interchangeable with the Cambox Feed Plunger, as that plunger has a smaller feedhole!

Similar to our 0083c Copper washer that fits behind the normal SOHC Bigend jet holder nut, this version of the copper washer performs the same purpose for the larger diameter DOHC Jet Holder nut, which has a 0.5" internal diameter.  Manually made - see listing. Price is each

Distinctive small hex blanking plug/bolt that locates on the left side on the crankcase lower bevel platfom.  CNC maufactured in stainless steel and includes red fibre washer
