Listed here are reproduction parts to fit Amal TT carburettors (and other competition carb parts) . There were many variations of TT carburettors made over the years, but the majority of parts shown here will cover all models - or be marked specific to a year.  Amal roadgoing carbs now seperated into their own section

- This is a full and comprehensive catalog, listing good quality reproductions of original Amal specification and tuning sheets for the Amal TT, RN (Remote Needle) and GP competition model carburettors, and also includes a full list of settings for SOHC Norton models when fitted with these models as well as a comprehensive setup guide from period Norton technical guides for these carburettors.  This is a 50+page plus facsimile document containing copies of many rare original Amal spec sheets in A4 format.  Price is Each

This rare item is a reproduction of the early 10TT bellmouth fitted to those early brass pre-1935 10TT carburettors, where the carb body has a male thread. These early pre 1935 Amal 10TT carburettors had a male thread on the carb body and an internal thread on the bellmouth - after 1934 that was reversed - therefore these early carburettors are now rare, and often the original bellmouth has been lost or damaged.  We CNC machine these bellmouths from a solid alloy billet - with the original profile and thread - which is a lot of work, but the result is a bellmouth that looks exactly the right shape and fits as the original.  See detail listing for more information - please read before ordering.  Price is Each

- This is a replacement for Amal TT or RN bellmouth if you want to use the bike on the road and are concerned about ingestion of dirt or grit.  It has a 'standard' short type TT/RN inlet tract and thread with a modern 'Pit Bike' cone type filter fitted.  Two bore sizes available.  See detail listing for more information

'Remote Needle' type throttle slide and needle holder to fit original Amal 10RN (Remote Needle) type racing carburetter - these been original fitment on most 1937 onwards SOHC (and pre-1953 DOHC)  M30/M40 and Manx models. - Correct type conical throttle spring to fit Amal TT. RN and GP racing Carburetter's

This is the spring of the correct dimensions to fit the Amal TT/RN/GP air adjuster assembly.  It is also of the type shown fitted to earlier Amal TT and RN carburettors, before the introduction of conical springs on competition carburettors.  See listing for details 

- High quality early type (i.e. pre-War and pre 1951'ish) Pilot Needle to fit original Amal TT and RN carburettors.  These tapered needles control the slow running and are often worn on originals. This is the rare to find early design which was fitted up until approximately 1951, it having a distincvitve design with a shorter knurl than the later type. - Brass pilot needle insert to fit in both original Amal TT, RN and GP competition carbs (all types) - these screw into the carburettor body, then the Pilot Adjuster Needle Screw screws into this brass insert.  Price is Each

This is the distinctive leaf spring that fits against Knurled pilot needle on Amal TT, RN and GP carburettors, and helps with fine adjustment of the Pilot needle.  See listing for more detail. Price is Each

- Small screw that fits on to the body behind Pilot Needle on Amal TT and RN racing carburettors - Like the throttle adapter peg, this item is often found rusty on original carbs

This is a reproduction of the original 180 Degree banjo that was fitted to Amal TT, RN and GP alloy froat chambers from the late 1930's onwards.  This 180 Degree type was most commonly fitted to Norton SOHC (and Manx Norton) carburettors - and is much rarer to find than the '90 degree' type more commonnly fitted to other motorcycle marques using the Amal competition carburettors through to the early 1960s.  See detail description for more information.  Price is per each banjo, but includes the two red fibre washers fitted either side of these banjos - from a high quality manufacturer.

NEW July 2023:  We are now able to offer these copper floats - to fit original Amal carburettors fitted with the Type 14 Float chamber - this include roadgoing Amal Type 76, 276 and 289 carburettors and competition Amal TT and RN carburettors.  These floats are manufactured in the same style as original Amal floats - with two spun copper halfs, soldered in the middle - and a brass tube running through the centre of a float, with a 'press spring' at the top.  See detail listing for more information.  Update March 2025 - Back in Stock. - Banjo Nut as fitted to original TT, RN and GP competition carburettors fitted with alloy floatchambers requiring the larger diameter banjo (either bottom mounted or  top banjo Type 302 floatchamber). These banjo nuts have include the all important lockwire hole and are nicely finished in satin nickel plate.  Price is each.

This is the topfeed banjo used on Amal Type 302 floatchambers (used from the late 1940's), that allows the float chamber to be remote mounted. This item is drilled and tapped in its centre which provides the means to remote mount them. Price is Each

- This is the red fibre washer that fits between the main Jet Holder and the float chamber (two being used at this point). The same washer is also used on the main banjo's used from 1940's onwards and fitted to TT's, RN's and GP's as well as Remote float chambers (again 2 fitted per banjo fitting. Carburetter needle clip - as fitted to original Amal TT competition carbs as well as many roadgoing carbs - i.e. Amal 76/276, 79/289 and monobloc carburettors. Price each

Throttle Needle to fit original Amal RN Carburettors (i.e T10RN and 10RN9 types).  Similar in appearance to the TT type throttle needle - but specific to the RN (Remote Needle) competition carburettor - this needle type are now very difficult to find.  Price is Each.  Update Dec 2022: New batch now available - see listing for detail

This is the distinctive lipped circular spring that was used on original Amal Remote Needle (RN) competition carbs to hold the throttle needle to the side bar attached to the throttle slide on Amal RN carbs.  This spring was circular, so that it would fit into the circular shaped Remote Needle part of the carb casting.  Our clips are identical to the original design, and an original spring was used as a pattern.  Price is each - see detail listing for more information
