Chassis Parts, Engine Plates And Fabricated PartsProduct no.: 0200 Info6I am now able to offer a selection of lasercut engine plates to fit both International and SOHC Manx models in both 350cc and 500cc variants. In most cases these plates are replicated from originals and have been trial fitted to frames. It is important to point out however that even with genuine Norton engine plates, it is rare to find two sets of plates exactly the same!, they often had small variations. Because of this, for the most common types I can offer them fully drilled or semi drilled, where the final frame hole is left blank, so you can drill it to fit your own frame and be sure it is correct. If you are not sure which set to buy, I am prepared to offer to send both types, and then if the fully drilled set does fit, you just send back the other set or vica versa. Obviously, while offering this service I do expect you to pay for extra postage to send the unwanted set back to me! I am also increasing the range all the time to include new brackets and fabricated parts, like the oil tank brackets fitted to both Manx wrapround tanks and International half wrapround tanks. Norton Girder Fork - Speedometer or Rev Clock Bracket - EachProduct no.: 1271 3884This unusual item is a copy of the Norton bakelite steering damper knob - but coloured brown, rather than the standard black colour. I believe these were originally manufactured by Norton's in this brown colour for the WD 16H (war production) models and are now quite rare to see. New DOHC Seat Cover Kit - to fit original F'Bed DOHC Manx Norton Seat Pans - 1951-58(ish)Product no.: 0870 RacSeat2These DOHC Manx Norton type seat cover kits are professionallly hand manufactured in the UK - using a genuine early 1950's Featherbed Manx Norton Seat as the pattern, of the type with a large rounded rear hump. The covers are made in a high quality durable automotive black vinyl - almost identical to the original material, and also include the period red piping over the top of the hump - just as the original. The original seat cover components were used as patterns for the new cover pieces - so the stitching pattern and overall look of the finished cover is totally authentic to the original Norton design. The kit also consists of the correct foam pieces and undercover foam - also copied from the original seat, as well as a full set of 40 large head pop rivets, for fixing the cover to the frame. And although this is intended a replacement 'cover kit' - as the original early DOHC Manx Norton racing seats are so rare - we also supply two A3 sized drawings with dimensions that will allow the restorer to fabricate an original style steel seat base - if they do not have an original seat themselves. Finally, we also include in the kit a CD that has numerous pictures of the original unrestored seat and cover - to help with the fabrication of a new base and how the cover looks once in place.
