This shim is a replacement for the original Norton 'ipped static distance piece shim' that was normally fitted behind the outermost ball bearing on SOHC (i.e. Model 30/40 and Model 30M/40M) models - effectively acting as a thin distance piece to hold the bearing away from the rear wall of the Driveside Main Bearing Housing.  Please read detail listing before ordering.  Price is Each

3 screw mainshaft bearing securing plate, to fit all Model 30 and Model 40 International (and CS1/CJ) engines. This pressed steel plate was used to retain the main bearings and ensure they did not 'walk' under heavy use. Price is Each

This is the shallower type of Model 30/40 main bearing plate that was fitted to very early SOHC Cammy engines - we believe prior to 1933 (although it is difficult to be certain when the changover occurred, give or take one year - so check detail listing for more information.  Price is each

This is the twin row caged roller bigend assembly fitted to the later (Post 61) DOHC, it being of the lipped outer ring variety. It can also be fitted to earlier DOHC shortstroke Manx Nortons if required. - It is used in conjunction with thrustwasher on the reverse side, to reduce side thrust. I have this type fitted to my '55 Doubleknocker (see 2nd photograph) - Note: Manx Bigends are normally supplied without castellated nuts, but this Bigend came already 'hot-dipped' in grease with the nuts on, so the price quoted includes the nuts
