This section lists parts to fit OHV (Overhead Valve) and SV (Sidevalve) Norton parts, as well as a few items to fit Norton Dominator and Norton twin parts

This is the rubber 'T Piece' connector pipe fitted to Norton OHV Singles from 1948-51 (i.e. upright gearbox models with the 1948 onwards OHV engine design) - that was fitted to the Oil Feed Return Pipe assembly, and was used to feed oil directly to the rockerbox on that engine type. These are manufactured to the original Norton design (copied from an original) from high quality oil-resistant Nitrile rubber.  See Detail Listing for more information. Price is Each.

- This is the bronze quill/plunger used to feed oil to the Big End Bearing, fits all SOHC engines, and those pre-38 OHV/SV engines with external round nut on timing over. Note : These plungers are NOT interchangeable with the Cambox Feed Plunger, as that plunger has a smaller feedhole!

- This is the conical spring that fits behind the A11/12 bronze Big End quill - and pushes it against the crankshaft Big End oil feed tapered hole). Made to original pattern.  Also as used on pre-War OHV/SV models using similar quill holder - see detail listing for more information.  Price is Each

- This is the steel jet holder that screws into the inner timing cover on SOHC and pre-1938 OHV/SV models - and retains the big end oil feed plunger/quill.  The same holder is also used on all central oil feed (competition type) cambox bevel covers.  See listing for mor information. Price is Each

- This is the bronze quill/plunger used to feed oil to the Big End Bearing, as fitted to OHV and Side Valve (SV) models from 1938 to 1947.  This engine was only made for a short period - just before and just after WWII, so finding original examples of the quill - which is specific to this model, are very difficult.  Ours are manufactured to the original dimensions, using an original as a pattern.  See detail listing for more information.  Price is Each 

- This is the spring that fits into the bronze Big End quill/plunger (used to feed oil to the Big End Bearing), as fitted to OHV and Side Valve (SV) civilian models from 1938 to 1947.  This spring is specific to the OHV/SV range of 1938-47, both the earlier and later OHV/SV types having a different length spring.  See detail listing for more information. This is the steel Big End Quill Holder - fitted into the timing cover of the 1938-47 OHV and Civilian type 16H Side Valve models, its purpose being to hold the Big End Quill and spring.  These models were only offered for a short period (i.e. 1938-39 and 1946-47 and the timing cover differs from both the earlier pre-38 and 48 onwards models so they are very difficult to find parts for.  It is not unusual to find that the quill holder on these models is damaged in the timing cover - therefore this is a difficult replacement to find.  These are CNC manufactured by ourelsves, copied from an original Norton pattern, from high tensile EN16T.  Read the full item description for more information before ordering. Price is Each

This listing is for a replacement 'kit' of 3 parts to replace the original 1930-1937 OHV and SideValve model timing gear lubrication assembly - that was fitted into the timing covers.  The assembly was normallly retained in the cover with a centre punch to the alloy close to the screwdriver slot - so is rarely checked by owners - but actually it served the important purpose of supplying oil directly onto the timing gear (cams and followers), so should be periodically checked.  The kit consists of the ball, conical spring and CNC manufactured Insert screw (from EN36) all copied from riginal Norton patterns.  Read the full item description for more information before ordering. Price is for a kit of 3 parts

This is the Spring and Ball that were fitted behind the screw in plug fitted to OHV and SV models between 1931 to 1947.  Over that period there were two designs of timing covers 1931-37 and 1938-47 type, and although the screw in plug design was different on each of those designs, the spring and ball that fitted behind the screw in plug was the same for both design types.  Therefore if you have stripped this assembly from your timing cover, and believe the original plug is still reusable - we can offer just the ball and spring on their own here.  The spring is manufactured by our specialist UK spring manufacturer and directly copies the original Norton design. - This listing is for a high quality A4 Format facsimile of the 1939 Norton Spare Parts Catalog for all single cylinder models. This is a particularly rare catalog as it is the only known catalog that shows spare parts diagrams for the revised 1938-47 OHV and SV (Civilian) models.  It is reproduced from a very nice condition original catalog - with all bemishshes removed, and is in A4 format - fractionially larger than the original Norton format, making it very easy to read.  Price is Each.

This item listing is for the Big End quill holder front cover retaining screw, and the red fibre washer that fitted behing the head of that screw fitted to the first SOHC 1927-29 Walter Moore CS1/CSJ models .  This screw is CNC machined from stainless steel, so looks very pretty on the front bevel cover, but is recessed internally to fit the quill spring, as per the original item. Correct (and as per original) 1/4" BSP 'One Way Valve' - as fitted to all Norton singles, including all SOHC, OHV and SV models - this item screwing into the recess just above the drive side main bearings, allowing the engine to breathe correctly. July 2023: Now back in Stock 

This is the oil delivery or return union that was fitted to the crankcases of most pre 1950 OHV and SV crankcases (as well as breathers on some of the SOHC models).  These look just as per the Norton items and are CNC machined by us in brass (as most originals were). Price is Each.

This is the distinctively shaped Air Intake bellmouth and filter assembly - as fitted only to Norton OHV and SV model Amal 76/276 type carburettors from the 1930s until the 1950's.  We have had these bellmoouths, filters and spring clips manufactured to the original style and pattern and they can be purchased as a complete assembly (in either bare alloy or matt silver) or components.  See detail listing for more information - and the different items available

This is a 79.62mm (500cc) forged slipper piston which copies the same vital dimensions as the original 1940's-50's Norton Heplex 572 OHV (Model 18 and ES2) piston, other than having a slightly raised crown - which on most OHV models should relate to an estimated @8:1  compression ratio.  As with our SOHC slipper pistons - these are the highest quality forged slipper pistons made by top manufacturer Omega.  They are also similar to the lower compression SOHC Inter pistons, often fitted to CS1's and road going Inters (or later Inters).
