This is the gearbox cover stud that fits into the shell of all upright gearbox's. An original was used as a pattern, these are identical, other than being manufactured in stainless steel. 7 are fitted per gearbox. Note: This item is slightly longer than the vertical bevel stud, it is 5/16" BSC both ends and can also be used as the Inlet Stud on cylinder heads - but check the thread on your head first, sometimes these are BSW.
