1.p Norton (and Other Marques) Rubber Components

- High quality fuel pipes (modern fuel/emission quality 1/4" pipe - fully Ethanol proof) to give that original black rubber finish of period fuel pipes. They have all writing removed and are made up with B.S.P. unions and crimped ferrules, to give a professional finish. These standard length pipes are of approx 10" and 10.5" actual pipe length, which gives enough length for nice graceful curves and to fit all the various Norton International and Manx style tanks fitted with TT Carbs, but also many road models.

This item is for a Set of 6 clutch rubbers, to fit all standard 3 spring type Norton Clutch's, they fit into the centre clutch spider and provide a cushioned transmission.  These are excellent quality rubbers to the original Norton pattern.  See detail listing for more information and fitting hints.  Price for a set of 6 rubbers. These are the girder fork rubber 'bump stops' as fitted to many Norton models where girder forks were used - to help prevent bottoming out. Particularly - they were most commonly fitted to WD 16H models, Sidecar models and Manx Nortons. Price is per pair

Excellent reproduction example of the classic 'Dunlop' rubber competition saddle, used on Norton SOHC Racing Internationals and other competition motorcycles of the 1930's.  Supplied in kit form and includes a pair of our own lasercut front mounting brackets.  June 2022:  Sorry still no update on a new manufacturer for these - and I am still trying!

Modern replica rubber saddle cover - similar to the original Dunlop competition (Trials) saddle - small size.  This listing is for the rubber seat cover only - however we also include drawings and dimensions of the original kit these saddles used to be supplied with - see accompanyning photos.

This is a 1 metre long x 7/8" wide length of the rubber material used to make the straps that go through the Chinpad Straps (Item 0127). There is easily enough material here to make one pair of straps, with a small amount left over. 

This is a black Sorbo (hard foam\rubber like material) petrol tank chinpad, of the type seen fitted to Norton race bikes (and other makes) in many period photographs, and is ideal for fitting to Norton Racing International and Manx petrol tanks which are fitted with chinpad fittings.

Flat bottom tank rubber used between dished washer and frame bracket (1.250" diameter) on most Norton petrol tanks - Four required per petrol tank.  Also used on some pre-Featherbed oil tank mounts - See listing detail for more information and model fitting.  Price is Each. 

Flat bottom tank rubber - normally fitted to the bottom of oil tanks - or occasionally Manx bolthru tanks.  The same as petrol tank rubber Item - 0129, but with a fractionally smaller Internal diameter, more suited to 5/16" bolts.  See listing for more detail.  Price is per each

- This is the Large pan Washer used between the top rubber and the petrol tank on Norton Internationals and Norton pushrod/Sidevalve models. Four Fitted per petrol tank - Price is per each

- This is the disctinctive Top Hat shaped rubber used on the top of Manx and Racing International Bolt-thru petrol tanks - Its head is the correct diameter to fit within the dished washer (A2/277 - our Item 0123). Four required per petrol tank.  It was also used to mount the 1950 style alloy Manx oil tank. See listing for details. Price is per each.

- This is the Top hat shaped rubber used on the bottom of Manx and Racing International Bolt-thru petrol tanks - With a larger diameter head than A11M/840 (Item 0131), It fits at the bottom of the tank and locates in the recess on the alloy Manx brackets used on Plunger Manx frames. Price is each

These petrol tank kneepads, with the Norton logo embossed in them are of the type fitted to Norton International's through the 1930's and into the early 1950's. This was also the type fitted to most SV and OHV model petrol tanks through the 1930's and until approximately 1953, when a slightly more bulbous tank was introduced on the ES2, which I also sell - Item Number 0419.. I am also able to supply the chromed screws that secure them to the petrol tank

These CNC manufactured stainless steel screws are identical to the original Norton items, except we CNC manufacture them in stainless to the original Norton pattern. These are to fit the Norton kneepad type shown in the picture - but this is for tanks with 5/16" BSC thread holes.  See Listing for more information.  Price is per pair of screws. These are the petrol tank kneepads fitted to swingarm models of mid to late 1950s (and later type plunger framed road models).

This is a slightly longer version of our black Sorbo (hard foam\rubber like material) petrol tank chinpad - which may be more suitable than our normal length (Norton) tank pad, if you have a competition bike with a long tank, or just want to give your classic bike a more 'Brooklands' look.  See item listing for more detail

This is a short black Sorbo (hard foam\rubber like material) petrol tank chinpad, this type being shorter than our other sorbo pads - but similar to the type fitted to many 1950's-70's classic racing bikes (including many Japanese 2-stroke racers), that often had a small indent in the petrol tank suitable for a small chinpad. 

- These laser cut brackets can be brazed or pressed onto a tube that feeds over the Norton footrest bar if your original brackets are bent or damaged, as so many often are. They are designed to hold the distinctive kidney shaped Norton rubbers.  come as a set of 4 brackets - see detail listing for more information

These laser cut brackets can be brazed onto your original footrests, as they are often missing or damaged - this type is of racing type where the outer one had an ear - this type being smaller than original, with more chance of passing modern scrutineering if racing

Pair of classic Norton 'D' shaped footrest rubbers, with Norton embossed on them as per originals, as fitted to all Norton roadgoing singles and pre-Featherbed race bikes

- These laser cut brackets can be brazed onto your original footrests, as they are often missing or damaged. They are designed to hold the distinctive kidney shaped Norton rubbers - these are replicated from an original SOHC Manx model and have a distinctive shape on the outer bracket with a large vertical tab to stop the foot coming off the footrest in competition.  Item consists of 4 bracket plates 

This Norton footrest set consists of the Norton 'D' type rubbers, the complete tube and both 'D' shape plates, as well as the two long bolts that hold the rubber footrests in place. Price is for pair of complete assemblies (see detail listing for more information).

These pillion footrest hangers and Norton embossed footrest rubbers are a good replica of the heavyweight pressed steel type fitted to Norton single models through the 1930's to 1950's - i.e. most Rigid and Plunger framed road going models.  They come as a pair.  See listing for more detail

Nice copy of the pillion footrest rubber - as shown in the 1948 Norton Spares catalog . . . which are of the correct type used in conjunction with the pressed steel footrest hangers which were used by Norton's on all Rigid and Plunger framed models of the 1930's/40's/50's. Embossed with Norton logo.

These pillion footrest rubbers are of the type shown in the 1955 Norton Spare Parts Catalog as being fitted to the swinging arm frame which was used for the Norton ES2, Model 19S and Dominator in the mid/late 1950's.
