Period gearchange rubber, similar in design to the one shown in the 1948 Norton Spare Parts Catalog as fitted to the Plunger Manx gearchange lever.

This gearchange rubber is of a very old design - and was of the type shown as fitted to the 1948 Manx Norton gearlevers. (slightly different to the rubbers fitted to the longer roadgoing gearlevers, although they could probably be fitted to that type of gearlever as well). There is a picture of that gearlever rubber from the 1948 Norton Spare Parts list attached.

We fit one of these gearchange rubbers to our own Works type alloy gearlevers - Item 0999.

They can also be fitted to later Laydown Norton gearbox lever models.
