1.j Norton Gaskets/Seals for SOHC, OHV, SV Models

This kit consists of 4 sheets of Flexoid oil resistent gasket material - each 200mm x 200mm, in thicknesses of 0.25mm/0.35mm/0.68mm/1.5mm.  Useful if needing to make up an emergency gasket for your engine or gearbox

This Felt seal making kit consists of a variety of the thickness of 100% Black Wool Felt offered in the other listings + a white (PAINT) marker pen which is ideal for the purpose of marking out the washer/seal to be made before cutting.  See detail listing for kit contents

1mm thick, 100% Wool Black Felt sheet - large 510mm x 410mm size.  This is 1mm (thin) pure wool felt material - very useful for wrapping around cambox area, lower primary chain rungs or undercovering under saddles and seats.  It can also be used for thin felt washers.  Price per sheet

2mm thick, 100% Wool Black Felt sheet - 300mm x 250mm size.  This is 2mm (medium thickness) pure wool felt material - very useful for slim felt washers, or absorbent material for wrapping around cambox area, lower primary chain rungs or undercovering under seats and saddles.  Price per sheet 

3mm thick, 100% Wool Black Felt sheet - 300mm x 250mm size.  This is 3mm (thicker variety) pure wool felt material - very useful for making felt washers and seals of the type often covering wheel bearings or around primary chaincases, or other areas where you want to stop seeping of oil and grease.  This material allows you to cut washers and seals to the size you require.  Price per sheet 

3mm thick, 100% Wool Black Felt sheet - 100mm x 80mm size.  This is 3mm (thicker variety) pure wool felt material - very useful for making felt washers and seals of the type often covering wheel bearings or around primary chaincases, or other areas where you want to stop seeping of oil and grease.  This is a smaller section of material - useful if you only have a a few washers to make.  Price is per patch

5mm thick, 100% Wool Grey Felt sheet - 250mm x 150mm size.  This is a much thicker felt than the other types we offer and is excellent for those areas where a really thick felt is required - i.e.steering head bearings or swinging arm bearing areas - or special wheel bearing applications, where you need to cut your own custom size.  Price is per sheet

6mm thick, 100% Wool Black Felt sheet - 180mm x 80mm size.  This is a non-standard thickness felt that we have to make using two 3mm felt patch's together (see full item description for details). Price is per patch

This is the E3238 7/16" x 20 tpi engine nut as fitted to many Norton engine bolts.  It has the correct 'reduced head' and greater depth than other commercially available nuts of this thread/size - and is CNC made specially by us for fitting to Norton engine bolts, but in stainless steel 

This is the special 10410 front engine plate lower bolt that is fitted to M30/M40 (pre-Featherbed Manx) magnesium engines.  It has the correct 'reduced' head 0.600" AF hex head, with distinctive Norton curved head finish.  This set comes complete with correct matching E3238 nut and two washers, all in stainless steel.  It is 7/16" diameter shaft 

This is the special SOHC 13293 M30/M40 7/16" front/middle engine bolt - machined with the correct racing Norton type 'wasted' head, as fitted to M30/Manx Nortons.  It has the correct 'reduced' head 0.600" AF hex head, and the set comes complete with correct matching E3238 nut and two washers, all in stainless steel.  It is 7/16" diameter shaft 

These 1/4" x 0.750" stainless steel bolts (supplied with nut and washers) have a head reduced to the absolute minimum and slight 5/16" shoulder on the shaft, which allows a 5/16" washer to be fitted - which provides a wider surface area than if a 1/4" washer was used - which is better for use with flattened mudguard stays and when fitting racing number plates.
