1920's-1931 All Models - Crankcase 'Clack Valve' Breather Spring - EachProduct no.: 1112 BrthSpring1This item is for a spare spring - of the type that were fitted into the distinctive 'Clack Valve' breathers in 1920's OHV and Walter Moore CS1 breathers - an original dismantled clack valve (shown in photo) providing the spring pattern. 1930's - 1957 16H and Big4 SV (Side Valve) Cylinder Head Nuts (Stainless Steel) - EachProduct no.: 1130 A2/156These Cylinder Head nuts are perfect copies of the design used by Norton's on 16H and Big4 Side Valve models, from the 1930's through to the end of Side Valve production in approximately 1957 - they have a distinctive deep hex and a gradual curve to the top of the nut - which was a Norton feature on many of their engine bolts. Sturmey Archer 3 Speed Kickstarter Spring - 1920s Long Tang Type (Walter Moore CS1/ES2 Type) - EachProduct no.: 1065 4585This is the gearbox kickstarter spring fitted to the 3 Speed Sturmey Archer models that were fitted to Walter Moore Norton CS1 and ES2 models in the late 1920's, through to the first Arthur Carroll engines and other models, to approximately 1932. Sturmey Archer 1932-34 4-Speed Gearbox Kickstarter Spring (i.e. Mod30/40,CS1, Model 18) - EachProduct no.: 1066 9710This is the gearbox kickstarter spring fitted to the 4 Speed Sturmey Archer models from approximately 1932-34, visually similar to the Norton gearbox spring that followed it, this spring has a wider diameter. Norton Late 1920s - Up to 1930/31 (2 and 3-Rear Stay Type Frame) - Rear Brake Spring - EachProduct no.: 1109 4504This is the spring that was fitted in the mid/late 1920's up to approximately 1930-31, for those models that were fitted with the large right side mounted rear brake drum, and one piece crossover shaft and brake pedal. - I believe these were fitted mainly to very early Nortons (particularly flat-tank bikes) so are not strictly correct for SOHC Nortons, however, on occasion I have fitted them anyway, as they look so pretty and only the real purist would object!
