This non-folding kickstarter is of the design that was fitted to many Norton road going models fromt the 1930's - 1950''s.

It is from an offshore supplier (listed by them as Norton 16H type) and is what I often class as of the 'cheap and cheerful' category!  - i.e. very good value for money, but not of the same quality and finish as our folding kickstarter (Item 0299) and made from a casting (as opposed to our folding kickstarter which is from a forging).

However, these differ from the standard 0299 item in that I have had them specially commisioned from my offshore supplier to provide additional clearance . . . which is often an issue on Norton singles, if the pattern exhaust pipe/silencer does not feed entirely under the kickstart boss - a common issue.

Therefore, these have an extended overhang - the distance between the back of the kickstarter boss and the upright part of the lever is approximately  - 58mm (substantially more than their standard Norton kickstarters).

Unlike the standard kickstarter (0299), these ones also come with securing bolt and Norton kickstart rubber fitted.  20/12/16: I only have limited stocks of this type of kickstarter and may not be able to get any more in the future - so when they are gone they are gone!
