These hanger plates are lasercut in 8mm alumium and are taken from templates I took from a genuine Vincent Black Lightning about 30 years ago (lent to me by the late Ted Davis). The holes are the correct diameter and in the correct place - and as you can see from the photographs, I used a similar set on my own Black Lightning replica. As far as I know, these have never been available for sale since Vincent's stopped making Lightning's!.

The left type was also used on Vincent 500cc Grey Flash's on both sides, and in the latest batch we had done (May 2021), we are now able to offer a few sets of the Vincent Grey Flash type (see Item 1017)

Please note:  As with all lasercut alloy plate - these are lasercut from large sheets in a lasercutting warehouse, so often come to us with some minor scratch's on them, as well as normal light lasercutting marks along their edges.  Therefore we linish these plates (a time consuming and unpleasent task!), to clean them up before packing (sprayed in light Duck Oil to protect from corrosion in storage).  They will still require some final rubbing down and polishing to give a final finish - but hopefully the worst of work is already  done.

These hanger plates are lasercut in 8mm alumium and are taken from templates I took from a genuine Vincent Black Lightning about 25 years ago - the left side one of a Vincent Black Lightning being of the type used on both side on production Vincent Grey Flash models - therefore this item is for two duplicate hanger plates, for anyone building a correct Grey Flash Repliica

These are nice quality, heavweight footrest rubbers - embossed with VINCENT in their centres, as per originals.  These fit both rider and pillion footrests on all Series C and D models. Sold as pair

I used the same rubbers on my Vincent Comet when I restored it.

By the way - these sometimes come with a slight white residue on the surface, this is just the mould releasing agent and can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth before fitting

Lovely reproduction of the distinctive Miller 'STOP' rear light unit, as fitted to Vincent road bikes as well as a few others of the immediate Post-War period. So nice you might want to consider fitting it to your Norton! (I have one fitted to my Vincent Comet)

This is the thick gasket that fits underneath the HT pickup fitted to most Lucas Magdyno magnetos, as well as Lucas NR1 and K1F/K2FC/KVFTT competition magnetos.

As well as fitting most Lucas Magdyno units (please check before ordering - I believe some earlier units may have used a different style pickup) - this gasket was also fitted to to Lucas NR1, NR1 Wader and K1F/K2FC/KVFTT competition magnetos (NR1 road racing magnetos are very rare, but were as fitted to some late Gardengate and early Featherbed Manx Nortons - see photo of one attached, which is going to be fitted to my 600 sidecar Manx).  However - the more normal NR1 magneto was the Wader type (as fitted to many British trials bikes) - which this gasket should also fit.

Lucas 'Racing Magneto' plate. As fitted to 1940's and 50's road racing NR1 and KVFTT type magnetos. Also fitted to Lucas 2MTT rotating magnet magnetos, as fitted to DOHC Manx Nortons from 1957. Very high quality reproduction plate in etched steel with red enamel infill

This is the standard Lucas serial model and number plate, fitted to many Lucas magnetos from the 1930's to the 1960's. This includes the Lucas M01 Magdynos fitted to Norton Internationals and other Norton road models for many years, as well as KVF and K2F magnetos. Very high quality reproduction plate in etched steel with black enamel infill

These mudguards are lightweight aluminium mudguards, made in the profile and width to fit 21" x 3.00 front wheel and 20" x 4.10 rear wheel - as originally fitted to Vincent Black Lightnings (and will also fit Vincent Grey Flash 500cc bikes).

These are the same profile as those I have fitted to my own Vincent Black Lightning replica - and the first photograph shows the same mudguard already fitted in the front wheel of my Vincent, with a back mudguard alongside. These mudguards are supplied un-polished . . . my view being that many of the polished aluminium mudguards I have seen look too much like chrome and not correct for a period Vincent.

For my own bike I burnished them using a 3M scouring pad to a semi polish finish - but now the bike has been sat in my workshop for a couple of years - they have that lovely greyish satin look of original alloy mudguards, that can still be polished if required.

These are also the same width and profile front and rear as the steel sports/racing mudguards we supply for pre-featherbed Manx and Inter Nortons, so they look very good on a competition bike.

When looking for Vincent BL mudguards I could find none that looked better in profile and arc than the mudguards that I was already making, so had a small batch made in alloy for Vincents - only a few sets, so once they are gone they are gone! note: The rear mudguard will also look reasonable with a 19" rear rim (as very few people will have provision for fitting the original diameter 20" wheel). And finally - expect packaging to be a bit more expensive than normal - these mudguards need lots of bubble wrap to ensure they do not get damaged in transit.
