Lucas NR1 and K2FC Pickup Washer

This is the paper washer that fits underneath the HT pickup fitted to Lucas NR1 and K1F/K2FC/KVFTT competition magnetos (NR1 magnetos are very rare, but were as fitted to some late Gardengate and early Featherbed Manx Nortons - see photo of one attached, which is going to be fitted to my 600 sidecar Manx)

Lucas Standard Serial Plate - Black

This is the standard Lucas serial model and number plate, fitted to many Lucas magnetos from the 1930's to the 1960's. This includes the Lucas M01 Magdynos fitted to Norton Internationals and other Norton road models for many years, as well as KVF and K2F magnetos. Black Lightning Footrest Hanger Plates

These hanger plates are lasercut in 8mm alumium and are taken from templates I took from a genuine Vincent Black Lightning about 25 years ago. The holes are the correct diameter and in the correct place and are from the same batch as those fitted to my own Black Lightning replica. As far as I know, these have never been available for sale since Vincent's stopped making Lightning's!. These will also fit 500cc Grey Flash's. Please note, as supplied (from my lasercutter's) the aluminium is unpolished and does have some minor scratches, therefore may require some linishing/polishing . . . sorry, but I had to do that myself as well! Miller 'Stop' Rear Light Unit

Vincent Black Lightning Mudguards - Alloy Pair

These mudguards are lightweight aluminium mudguards, made in the profile and width to fit 21" x 3.00 front wheel and 20" x 4.10 rear wheel - as originally fitted to Vincent Black Lightnings (and will also fit Vincent Grey Flash 500cc bikes). These are the same profile as those I have fitted to my own Vincent Black Lightning replica - and the first photograph shows the same mudguard already fitted in the front wheel of my Vincent, with a back mudguard alongside. These mudguards are supplied un-polished . . . my view being that many of the polished aluminium mudguards I have seen look too much like chrome and not correct for a period Vincent. For my own bike I have burnished them using a 3M scouring pad to a semi polish finish - but once the bike is fully finished I might go to a finer finish. These are the same width front and rear as the racing mudguards I also supply for Manx Nortons, so look very good on a competition bike. When looking for Vincent BL mudguards I could find none that looked better in profile and arc than the mudguards that I was already making, so had a small batch made in alloy for Vincents - only a few sets, so once they are gone they are gone! note: The rear mudguard will also look reasonable with a 19" rear rim (as very few people will have provision for fitting the original diameter 20" wheel). And finally - expect packaging to be a bit more expensive than normal - these mudguards need lots of bubble wrap to ensure they do not get damaged in transit. Sold as a pair

Exhaust Clip 1.750"

Exhaust pipe clip to fit Norton 1.750" Diameter exhaust pipes as fitted to all Norton singles. This clip does not come supplied with bolt, but is designed to take a 1" x .250" bolt.

NGK Spark Plug B6ES: Norton SOHC/OHV/SV and Vincent 500/1000

NGK B6ES Spark Plug to fit all Norton road going single engines, i.e. Model 30/40, OHV ES2/Mod 18/Mod19 and SV 16H/Big4.  It also fits Vincent 500cc and 1000cc models (Series B/C/D).  

I use NGK spark plugs on all my bikes now, I have found them to be the best of all modern plugs for quality and reliability.  The B6ES is equivelant to a Champion N5 and is the 'normal' roadgoing fitment for Norton singles and Vincent models.  The other common fitment for these engines was the B7ES (Champion equivelant N4) which is a slightly harder plug and may be more suitable if you prefer harder/hotter running.  I tend to keep at least one of each in my tool roll on road bikes, as spares - we sell the B7ES grade as well - Item no 0576

NGK B7ES Spark Plug to fit all Norton road going single engines, i.e. Model 30/40, OHV ES2/Mod 18/Mod19 and SV 16H/Big4.  It also fits Vincent 500cc and 1000cc models (Series B/C/D).  

I use NGK spark plugs on all my bikes now, I have found them to be the best of all modern plugs for quality and reliability.  The B7ES is equivelant to a Champion N4 and is an alternative to the slightly softer B6ES (item number 0575). You may find your engine runs slighlty better on this grade of plug if you often run at high speeds or your engine runs hot, as this is a slightly harder (colder) plug.

I tend to keep at least one of each in my tool roll on road bikes, as spares - we sell the softer B6ES grade as well - Item no 0575

Lucas B38-6 (Large Rubber Style) Battery Box - PU7D

This is a genuine Lucas - empty battery box of the large rubber (B38-6) type - which is the type of 6v battery originally fitted to a number of british bikes of the 40's/50's/60's - including both Norton and Vincent singles.  It was also not unusual to fit this type of battery to Norton singles of the 1930's, as a replacement for earlier T-Shape batteries which were discontinued after WWII.

This empty battery box is a modern (hard rubber) replica of the original Lucas type (but still manfactured by Lucas), but does not have any battery inside it - instead it is ready to take a modern 'gell cell' battery.  In the 3rd and 4th photograph I show one of those modern dry cell batteries (not included) - which will fit snugly in the case.  Note:  I may shortly be offering thes dry cell battery for sale as well, email for details when placing order if you would like to order one

Front Number Pate

Front Number plate, painted with a black finish.

This number plate has a sporty rake on on one side (which would be facing the rear of the bike.  However - if you prefer the symetric shape that was adoped on some bikes (i.e. the Vincent used a symetric front number plate commonly), then it is a simple job to copy the shape of the other end onto a cardboard template and then use this as a template to help cut away the 'rake' part on the other end, leaving a symetric style plate.  I have done this with one of these plates when fitting one to my Vincent Comet restoration
