1.d Norton SOHC Cambox

These Red Fibre Washers are a nice close fit on 1/4" BSP threads and are useful for many Norton fittings - such as those breather unions and petrol taps that have a 1/4" BSP thread that comes up close to the hex or shoulder. This is the correct type 'volute' spring of the type originally used Norton Internationals (and also OHV and SV Nortons) to hold the exhaust valve lifter cable in tension correctly. These are identical in shape and length to original springs.  See detail listing for fitting instructions.  Price is each. 

This is the eccentric pin that fits in the bearing boss at the front of those cambox's that are fitted with provision for an exhaust lifter mechanism (see the accompanying photograph for how the pin fits in this boss).

This is a faithful reproduction of the SOHC exhaust valve lifter arn and the special 'reduced head' bolt that is fitted with it.  Both are copied exactly from oriignal patterns but both manufactured in stainless steel.  Price is for the arm and bolt as a pair

This listing is for a complete SOHC Exhaust valve lifter set consisting of: Eccentric valve lifter spindle, Valve lifter arm and bolt, and the volute spring.

This is modern replacement for the straight thru breather used on Norton crankcases and timing cases - but uses AF Hex (not Whitworth) - if you are not worried about originality!

2mm thick, 100% Wool Black Felt sheet - 300mm x 250mm size.  This is 2mm (medium thickness) pure wool felt material - very useful for slim felt washers, or absorbent material for wrapping around cambox area, lower primary chain rungs or undercovering under seats and saddles.  Price per sheet 

3mm thick, 100% Wool Black Felt sheet - 300mm x 250mm size.  This is 3mm (thicker variety) pure wool felt material - very useful for making felt washers and seals of the type often covering wheel bearings or around primary chaincases, or other areas where you want to stop seeping of oil and grease.  This material allows you to cut washers and seals to the size you require.  Price per sheet 

3mm thick, 100% Wool Black Felt sheet - 100mm x 80mm size.  This is 3mm (thicker variety) pure wool felt material - very useful for making felt washers and seals of the type often covering wheel bearings or around primary chaincases, or other areas where you want to stop seeping of oil and grease.  This is a smaller section of material - useful if you only have a a few washers to make.  Price is per patch

5mm thick, 100% Wool Grey Felt sheet - 250mm x 150mm size.  This is a much thicker felt than the other types we offer and is excellent for those areas where a really thick felt is required - i.e.steering head bearings or swinging arm bearing areas - or special wheel bearing applications, where you need to cut your own custom size.  Price is per sheet
