This replica of the 33108/36084  type 6v Voltage Regulator is a nice example of the type originally fitted to most roadgoing Norton single cylinder models, fitted from mid 1930's to the late 1950's.  See detail listing for more information. Price is per unit.

This product listing is for an excellent quality modern 'Solid State' dynamo regulator which can be used to replace original 'insides' of the notoriously unreliable Lucas 33018a type mechanical regulator, fitted to most Norton single roadgoing models both pre and post war.  

- This is the fabricated bracket that was used on Postwar Pre-Featherbed framed SOHC International models to mount the Lucas Voltage Regulator, under the saddle.  The mounting bolt affixes to the frame rear mudguard/top oil tank bracket mount (see detail listing).  This item is fabricated by us, using an original Norton mount bracket as the pattern.  As shown in the 1948 Norton Spare Parts catalog - Part Number A11/843. 

This is a genuine Lucas - empty battery box of the large rubber (B38-6) type - which is the type of 6v battery originally fitted to a number of british bikes of the 40's/50's/60's - including both Norton and Vincent singles.  It was also not unusual to fit this type of battery to Norton singles of the 1930's, as a replacement for earlier T-Shape batteries which were discontinued after WWII.

This empty battery box is a modern (hard rubber) replica of the original Lucas type (but still manfactured by Lucas), but does not have any battery inside it - instead it is ready to take a modern 'gell cell' battery.  In the 3rd and 4th photograph I show one of those modern dry cell batteries (not included) - which will fit snugly in the case.  Note:  I may shortly be offering thes dry cell battery for sale as well, email for details when placing order if you would like to order one

- This is a reasonable copy of the battery carrier that was fitted to OHV and Side-Valve rigid and plunger framed models, that fitted the Exide, rectangular style upright 6v battery.  Slightly improved by us from other similar items you may see advertised - see listing for more detail.  Price is each

- These are the rectangular brushes fitted to the Lucas E3 and E3L Dynamo unit that sits atop the Lucas Magdyno unit, fitted to most Norton Single Cylinder roadgoing models.  These brushes are to fit the E3(L) 2 brush type dynamo, fitted to Norton models from 1937 onwards.  See detail listing for more information. - This listing is for the (armature) Earthing Brush and spring fitted to those Lucas Magdyno M01L magnetos that were fitted with earthing brushes - i.e. with a brass earthing side screw, as shown in the accompanyning photos.  Price is for brush and spring.
