1938-47 OHV Engine - Complete Rocker Box (Norton type) Cheesehead SS Bar-turned Screw SetProduct no.: 1001 CH HD7This is a complete rockerbox cheesehead screw set for 1938 to 1947 type OHV Norton single cylinder models - i.e. Model 18, ES2, Mod 19, Mod 50. It consists of the cheeseheads that surround the rockerbox cover, red fibre washers for these, the extra long tappet cover cheesehead screws (fitted only to this Norton single model) and stainless washers to go with these tappet screws - all of these being CNC bar-turned in stainless steel to the original period Norton dimensions and head pattern. can be shipped within 60 days |
Norton OHV 1938-47 Top Pushrod Rubber Seal - Dual Pushrod Tube Type: (Each)Product no.: 1072 8893This item is the distinctively shaped twin hole top pushrod rubber seal that was fitted to all OHV 1938-47 models. This model had its pushrod tubes closer together than the later and more common 48-56 OHV models, and this rubber seal is now extremely difficult to find. Pre-War (early 1930's) to 1947 OHV/SV - Countersink Screws for Magneto Chain Area (SS) - PairProduct no.: 1004 9063These are the two countersink screws of the type used on pre-war up to 1947 OHV and Sidevalve Norton single engines, which screwed into the inner timing cover behind the magneto chain. New Norton 15 Tooth Magneto Sprocket - Engine Side (SOHC/OHV/SV) - EachProduct no.: 0391 A2/79This item is the 15 tooth Norton single magneto chain sprocket on the engine side - that drives the chain to the magneto sprocket, it fits on the end of the oil pump drive gear (SOHC models) or inlet cam (OHV and SV models). These sprockets are manufactured to to the original Norton profile, and were as used on most Norton single cylinder models (i.e. SOHC, OHV and SV singles) from the 1930's to late 1950's. OHV/SV Models - Alloy Magneto/MagDyno Platform Bolt - Locking Plate - Dull Nickel (Each)Product no.: 1037 A2/118This unusual but distinctive looking plate/washer, was fitted on the Timing side of the Lucas MagDyno magneto platform bolt on all OHV and Side Valve models - and helped ensure that when the magneto bolt was fully tightened in the 'slotted' engine plate, it spread the load, to help prevent the magneto slipping and mag chain tension being lost.
