2.a Parts to fit: Original Amal TT Competition Carburettors

6 part air adjuster kit to fit original Amal TT, RN and GP competition carburetters, containing the following parts: - Air cable adjuster and locknut - Air barrel top - Air valve and nipple holder for air valve - Air valve spring.  CNC manufactured, with top piece and adjusters in stainless steel with original Amal TT/RN Knurl and design.  AUG 2023: NOW BACK IN STOCK 

This is a cable adjuster and locknut with a 0.250" BSC thread, which is of the distinctive 'knurled' type that were originally fitted to Amal TT, RN and GP competition type Air Slides - however, they can also be used as throttle cable adjusters on other carb types - that had a similar thread, or a 1/4" through hole to take a similar adjuster.  These are CNC manufactured in stainless steel.  See listing for more detail.  Price is per adjuster and nut.

2 part throttle cable adjuster and locknut to fit original Amal TT and RN competition carburetters (with 3/8" diameter BSC thread), CNC manufactured in stainless steel, but with the same profile and distinctive knurl as the original competition item.  Price is per Adjuster and Locknut. This is the turned aluminium choke top piece, that holds throttle cable adjuster on original Amal TT carburettors.  This is the later TT carb design,  which used a leaf spring against the knurl to retain it, which we can also supply.  Price is each

- Lovely quality chromed chamber cap to fit all original 10RN (Remote Needle) Amal Carburetters, CNC manufactured to original design in the UK, including UK chroming. - This is the throttle cable adjuster and locknut of the type sometimes fitted to later alloy top caps on later Amal TT and GP carbs - The  thread size is 7/32 x 40tpi, which is slightly finer than on some original carbs, so please check. On some carb tops they are non threaded to accept this adjuster, which is a simple mod to the threaded type 

This listing is for the distiinctive shouldered and profiled hex head bolt that fitted to the Inlet ring on Amal Type 76/276 and Type 86/286 Stub Fitting Carburettors - it having the important function of ensuring the carb was securly located to the inlet stub.  These are CNC manufactured by us to the original design in stainless steel and the heads lightly polished. They were also used on Competition TT/RN clip fitting carburettors. Price is each

- Top ring retainer spring as fitted behind lockring of bellmouth on original later type Amal TT carbs, and stops top lockring from loosening.  This one, as per original item.  Note : this ring was not fitted to earlier TT carbs - but can be adapted if required, see listing for detail

- 'Short' type bellmouth to fit original Amal 10TT carburettors .  High quality CNC machined from an original bellmouth pattern.  Available in various internal diameter's - including those to fit both 350 and 500 variation SOHC Nortons 

- 'Medium type bellmouth to fit original Amal 10TT and RN (Remote Needle) carburettors .  High quality CNC machined from an original bellmouth pattern (see photo) .  Available in various internal diameter's - including those to fit both 350 and 500 variation SOHC Nortons 

- Long type bellmouth to fit original Amal 10TT and RN (Remote Needle) carburettors. Can also be fitted to  10GP1 .carbs  High quality CNC machined from an original bellmouth pattern (see photo) .  Available in various internal diameter's - including those to fit both 350 and 500 variation SOHC and early DOHC Nortons 

- This is a replacement for Amal TT or RN bellmouth if you want to use the bike on the road and are concerned about ingestion of dirt or grit.  It has a 'standard' short type TT/RN inlet tract and thread with a modern 'Pit Bike' cone type filter fitted.  Two bore sizes available.  See detail listing for more information 

- Lock ring to fit original Amal TT, RN and some GP carburettor bellmouths.  CNC machined.

- This is the small threaded peg that locates the throttle adapter body in the main choke barrel on Amal TT carburettors - originals always seem to be rusty! - CNC machined in stainless steel

This is the special needle carrier that were attached to the slide on original Amal RN competition carburettors - allowing the throttle needle to be held remotely from the throttle slide.  CNC machined to the original Amal RN pattern and includes the flush fitting brass screw also required.  See listing for more information

- High quality cadmium plated brass main/pilot jet holder to fit both original Amal TT and RN competition carburetters - Nicely finished with clean crisp machining.  Price is Each

- Nicely finished bottom plug screw, fits at base of original TT/RN/GP (and Monobloc) carburetters, giving access to the main jet. Made from brass as per the original and then nickel plated, this item includes that all important drilled bottom dimple so that it can be lockwired (unlike many other pattern versions).  Price is each

- Full washer kit to fit original Amal TT and RN carburettors 

These are genuine (old stock) Amal main jets of the type originally supplied for Amal TT/RN/GP racing carburettors, identifiable by the hex part having no indent along its length (which all later Amal and modern jets have).  All sizes are available, including many of the rarer large sizes.  Price is Each

TT Needle Jets - Available in 107, 109, 113 and 120 (methanol) sizes. 

- Float Chamber needle of Type 14/245 - to fit original Amal TT, RN and some GP Type alloy 14 float chambers, as fitted to most TT and RN carbs of late 1930's to mid 50s period, where an alloy float chamber was fitted.  Manufactured to the original design.  Price is Each.  See listing for more detail

NEW July 2023:  We are now able to offer these copper floats - to fit original Amal carburettors fitted with the Type 14 Float chamber - this include roadgoing Amal Type 76, 276 and 289 carburettors and competition Amal TT and RN carburettors.  These floats are manufactured in the same style as original Amal floats - with two spun copper halfs, soldered in the middle - and a brass tube running through the centre of a float, with a 'press spring' at the top.  See detail listing for more information.  Price is Each

- 4 part tickler kit to fit original Amal TT, RN and 276/289 (standard size) float chambers. This float tickler fits the standard screw in (Type 76) floatchamber top - and is CNC machined by us to the original tickler design and dimensions. Satin nickel plated brass - as per the original items.  See listing for more detail.  

4 part tickler kit to fit original Amal 302 Floatchambers - as fitted to Amal RN and GP (and occasionally TT) carbs from the late 1940's through to the early 1960's.  This float tickler design is very similar to the type fitted to most Amal 276/289, TT, and RN floatchambers - but the shaft is slightly longer than the tickler fitted to standard Amal floatchambers.  Manufactured as per the original in brass, then satin nickel plated. - Tickler spring to fit all Amal seperate floatchamber tickler assemblies.  A common fault with Amal tickler assemblies on Type 276/289 or competition Float chambers (i.e the floatchambers used on TT, RN, GP carbs) is that the original tickler spring either rusts and corrodes, or just compresses after many years of use.  This spring is manufactured to the original dimensions and restores your tickler to its original non-drooping position!. This lock screw is an exact copy of the type fitted to most types of Amal floatchamber screw covers - i.e those floatchambers fitted to Type 276, TT, RN or Dirt Track Carburettors - in fact almost all Amal float chambers that have a screw in top.
