This is the main gasket that fits between the gearbox shell and gearbox covers on upright Norton gearbox's. It fits all 4 speed upright types from early 1930's, through to the last one fitted in 1952 (ish). We used to get so many requests for this gasket that we have had the patterns made and manufactured for us by a specialist UK gasket manufacturer.  Price is each

This is the gasket that fits between the main gearbox casting and inner cover casting fitted to the Norton Laydown style gearbox's that were introduced on all Norton models from 1951 (all singles, twins and Featherbed DOHC Manx Models) and were used until the introduction of the AMC type gearbox in 1957. Made in nice oil resistent gasket material.

Cork washer that fits behind hte Chaincase inspection Cover (our Item no 0378). Prevents oil weep down side of chaincase!

This is the distinctive steel cup, which is pressed into the end of both front and rear Norton hubs on the brake side, and retains the felt washer, to stop grease escaping into the brake drum. This version is identical to the original Norton version (one of which was used as the template for these), and is useful, as originals often get bent and distorted as part of fitting new wheel bearings

This steel fine-threaded ring with 4 distinctive holes (to allow the ring to be rotated and locked) was fitted to the none-brake side of Norton hubs on all models from the 1930's through to the late 1950's, to retain the wheel bearing.  It is normal when trying to remove an original ring, to find that the small holes have been badly chewed, because a punch has been used to lock them in the past, so finding good ones is now difficult.  These rings are CNC machined, an original Norton ring having been used as the pattern.  See detail listing for more information.  Price is each.  

This is the Union that fits into International and SOHC Manx crankcases for both Feed and Return. It allows for the standard 3/8" BSP SOHC Norton oil pipes to be connected. It is very close to original but is a modern item, and uses a larger spanner hex, requiring a UNF spanner. This is a cheaper alternative to the original brass union that I have made specially (Item no 0246), but as you only need to screw it in once this is not really an issue - item is still high quality and is cadmium plated. - Price is per each

This is a faithful reproduction of the straight through union fitted to SOHC (and DOHC) cambox's for connecting the cambox oil feed pipe (fitted at top of crankcase and cambox), but also used as a front crankcase breather on many Inters and magnesium racing engines.  Finally it is also fitted as a breather union on the bevel chamber of magnesium racing crankcases behind the inner timing cover (while Inter crankcases instead employ a pressure telltale unit).  Copied from an original pre-war item

- Modern equivelant Dowty washer (outer washer is zinc plated steel, inner washer is neoprene). This washer is used behind the timing chamber filter bolt and also at the back of the rear cylinder crankcase mouth bolt (that has an oil feed)

These Red Fibre Washers are a smaller diameter than 'normal' 1/4" BSP washers - but then pre-threaded by us - so they are a good fit on those Norton fittings that used 1/4" BSP thread, but have a groove behind the thread - e.g. Norton pre-48 Oil Sump Plugs and some breather union fittings.  See detail listing for more information.  This listing is for a bag of 5 washers

These Red Fibre Washers are a nice close fit on 1/4" BSP threads and are useful for many Norton fittings - such as those breather unions and petrol taps that have a 1/4" BSP thread that comes up close to the hex or shoulder. Red Fibre washer that fits over most 3/8" BSP Banjo fittings, as well as 3/8" BSP Oil Tank fittings.  These washers are a good 'sized' fit - which is important for getting a good seal. These are sourced from a top quality manufacturer.  Price is for a Pair

This is modern replacement for the straight thru breather used on Norton crankcases and timing cases - but uses AF Hex (not Whitworth) - if you are not worried about originality!

This is the oil tank union fitted to many International\Manx oil tanks with the larger 3\8" BSP fitting on both sides (crankcase unions were smaller on the crankcase side). Please note - these do not have gauze filters fitted, which the 'Feed' side union would have had originally (I might make some of these in the future). Gauze can easily be added in by soft soldering.

This item listing is for a pair of copper 'Crush' washers of the type that were fitted behind the distinctive Oil Tank Union as fitted to most Roadgoing Norton models - i.e OHV, Side Valve and CS1 (not Inter tanks) from the 1930's through to the 1950's.  See listing for more detail.
