This design of conical valve cap was the 2nd design - introduced in approximately 1928, and replacing the smaller/earlier conical pattern used on the first OHV models, and earliest CS1 models - which we also offer, see Item 1225. New Exhaust Megga (Reverse Cone/Unplated) - For SOHC Norton and Norton Singles - EachProduct no.: 0443 A11M/167_1This is a proprietary reproduction open 'megga' exhaust trumpet with a small reversed lip at the end. It is 1.750" exhaust bore, so will fit Norton SOHC bikes, and as it has no baffles fitted should make a very fruity noise! These are supplied to us unplated, but have a mounting bracket and adaptor for a smaller exhaust and could provide a good starting point for the earlier pre-war type Norton megga, before replating. It has a slight reverse cone and the baffles looked to be screwed in, so may be able to remove. It also comes with mounting bracket and adaptor rings to fit smaller exhaust pipes.
