Norton Upright Gearbox and Pre-AMC (i.e. laydown) gearbox - bronze mainshaft Thrust Washer 

These are the rollers that fit in the cage at the rear of the inner clutch body - there are 15 rollers fitted but we include a spare in case you drop one!, so 15+1=16 rollers.

- Full set of headrace balls - both top and bottom race - to fit all Norton single frames - 34 balls in all (the correct amount for top and bottom races), plus one spare in case you drop one!, 34 + 1 = 35.

- Single row ball bearing to fit BTH KD1 competition magnetos (as fitted to Norton camshaft engines). I believe this bearing also fits other similar BTH single cylinder magneto's, i.e. standard KD1 and MH1 models

- Single row ball bearing.from top quality RHP brand. As fitted to magnesium conical rear hubs on 1950 Gardengate and later DOHC Featherbed Manx Nortons.  Special order - see detail listing.  Aug 22: Now out of stock, but trying to source more, email for update

Proper felt wheel bearing washers, as was original fitment on both sides of all Norton rigid,plunger and swinging arm hubs from the early 1930's through to the 1960's (except conical brake side for some reason).  UK manufactured

This is the distinctive steel cup, which is pressed into the end of both front and rear Norton hubs on the brake side, and retains the felt washer, to stop grease escaping into the brake drum. This version is identical to the original Norton version (one of which was used as the template for these), and is useful, as originals often get bent and distorted as part of fitting new wheel bearings

This steel fine-threaded ring with 4 distinctive holes (to allow the ring to be rotated and locked) was fitted to the none-brake side of Norton hubs on all models from the 1930's through to the late 1950's, to retain the wheel bearing.  It is normal when trying to remove an original ring, to find that the small holes have been badly chewed, because a punch has been used to lock them in the past, so finding good ones is now difficult.  These rings are CNC machined, an original Norton ring having been used as the pattern.  See detail listing for more information.  Price is each.

This Felt seal making kit consists of a variety of the thickness of 100% Black Wool Felt offered in the other listings + a white (PAINT) marker pen which is ideal for the purpose of marking out the washer/seal to be made before cutting.  See detail listing for kit contents

1mm thick, 100% Wool Black Felt sheet - large 510mm x 410mm size.  This is 1mm (thin) pure wool felt material - very useful for wrapping around cambox area, lower primary chain rungs or undercovering under saddles and seats.  It can also be used for thin felt washers.  Price per sheet

3mm thick, 100% Wool Black Felt sheet - 300mm x 250mm size.  This is 3mm (thicker variety) pure wool felt material - very useful for making felt washers and seals of the type often covering wheel bearings or around primary chaincases, or other areas where you want to stop seeping of oil and grease.  This material allows you to cut washers and seals to the size you require.  Price per sheet 

3mm thick, 100% Wool Black Felt sheet - 100mm x 80mm size.  This is 3mm (thicker variety) pure wool felt material - very useful for making felt washers and seals of the type often covering wheel bearings or around primary chaincases, or other areas where you want to stop seeping of oil and grease.  This is a smaller section of material - useful if you only have a a few washers to make.  Price is per patch

5mm thick, 100% Wool Grey Felt sheet - 250mm x 150mm size.  This is a much thicker felt than the other types we offer and is excellent for those areas where a really thick felt is required - i.e.steering head bearings or swinging arm bearing areas - or special wheel bearing applications, where you need to cut your own custom size.  Price is per sheet

6mm thick, 100% Wool Black Felt sheet - 180mm x 80mm size.  This is a non-standard thickness felt that we have to make using two 3mm felt patch's together (see full item description for details). Price is per patch
