These are the coarse thread countersunk screws that are used to secure the Lucas Mag/Dyno to the cast aluminium platform used on OHV and SV Norton singles.  Price is for pack of 4

Genuine Renolds magneto chain and one soft link, to fit OHV and SV (Mod 18, ES2, 19, 16H, Big4 etc) models manufactured between 1938 to 1959 with 44 links. (but not WD type 16H - see listing for details)

Genuine Renolds magneto chain and one soft link, to fit 1930's (up to 1938) OHV and SV (Mod 18, ES2, 19, 16H, Big4 etc) with 42 links. Note, these chains should use a riveted (soft link), not a circlip link. 

This item is a genuine Renolds 'soft' link to fit a magneto chain. This type of rivetable link is always preferable to a 'split' type link and would have been fitted orignally. All our Norton magneto chains come supplied with one of these 'soft/rivetable links, but we also sell them separtely here - and it is often handy to keep a couple in your toolbox.  See listing for details.  Price is per soft link and plate.

This item is a Renolds 'split' link to fit a magneto chain. 

First and foremost i would say it is not recommended to fit a half link (or link and a half as it actually is), but I know that on some rare occasions you may have an unusual timing covers where the chain can either be too slack/tight with standard links. Therefore this item is for a Reynolds link and a half to fit Norton magneto chains

This unusual but distinctive looking plate/washer, was fitted on the Timing side of the Lucas MagDyno magneto platform bolt on all OHV and Side Valve models - and helped ensure that when the magneto bolt was fully tightened in the 'slotted' engine plate, it spread the load, to help prevent the magneto slipping and mag chain tension being lost.  An original Norton item was used as the pattern for this item.  See listing for more detail

This item is for a spare spring - of the type that were fitted into the distinctive 'Clack Valve' breathers in 1920's OHV and Walter Moore CS1 breathers - an original dismantled clack valve (shown in photo) providing the spring pattern.  We will shortly be manufacturing the complete breather/clack valve unit.  See listing for more information.  Price is per spring

These are modern circlips of the same size as fitted to standard Norton pistons - i.e 0.875" gudgeon pins, incase like me you sometimes buy 'New Old Stock' pistons at autojumbles, but the circlips are missing

This is a 71mm (350cc) piston to fit Norton 71mm x 88m late type (1956-59) 350cc Model 50 singles - from well known piston manufacturer - JP Pistons. Available in +20/+40/+60 sizes (state which required when placing order). These pistons are CNC machined and very well made - see detail listing for more information 

This item listing is for a pair of copper 'Crush' washers of the type that were fitted behind the distinctive Oil Tank Union as fitted to most Roadgoing Norton models - i.e OHV, Side Valve and CS1 (not Inter tanks) from the 1930's through to the 1950's.  See listing for more detail. Commercial quality ThreeBond silicone gasket mateial, Type 1215 - 250g Tube and applicator - in Grey colour.  I have been using this high quality silicone sealer for gasket application for about 20 years - and in my opnion there is no finer silicone gasket material available.  This 250g tube should last most restorers a good period of time.  We also sell Type 1207B Black silicone sealant in 100g tubes.  See listing for more detail.  Price is Each

This is the base barrel gasket of the shape originally fitted to all single cylinder 500cc models through the 1930's.  It also continued for Side Valve engines post-war, but can also be used on other 500cc post war models. Manufactured from high grade and slightly pliable oil jointing material.  See listing detail for more information

This is a high quality annealed copper/non-abestos type head gasket - of the type that was fitted to Sidevalve Norton engines (i.e. 16H and Model 1 types) through the 1930's up until end of 1947.  It also fits the WD 16H engine.  These head gaskets are manufactured for us in the UK to the original design by a top motorcycle gasket manufacturer - being of the composite type, i.e. annealed copper and heat resistant gasket compound.  See listing for more detail.  Price is Each

This is the oil reistent paper gasket that was fitted to cylinder base on the  the newly re-designed (civilian version) Sidevalve Norton engines (i.e. 16H and Model 1 types) from 1938 until the end of 1947.  Note that the WD 16H Engine which was manufactured at the same time did not have this cover fitted.  See listing for details

This is the distinctive oval shaped cork gasket that fits over the alumium tappet cover casting on 1948 -  1955 type side valve engines.  See detail listing for more fitment information

This is the upper and lower gasket set that fits the alumium tappet cover casting on 1948 -  1955 type side valve engines (similar to the pushrod gasket set for the OHV engine) - with 4 gaskets in the set.  See detail listing for more fitment information

This is the circular oil resistent rubber seal that fits on the shaft of the exhaust valve lifter mechanism on the side of the aluminium tappet chest of 1948 - 55 16H and Big 4 Side Valve Engines. 

If you own a Post-1948 norton model, with a drain plug in bottom of the crankcase, then it will either have been fitted with 1/8" BSP sump plug - or sometimes a 7/16" threaad plug - If the thread measures 7/16" OD - then these are the correct fibre washers for that plug.  Also used at the back of the SOHC Cylinder Feed Bolt. This gasket set consists of the 2 x bottom extra thick Red Fibre seals that were fitted to the 1939-47 type OHV engine bottom pushrods.  This is particularly difficult seal to find now and we have had it made specially for us.  Price is per pair.
