1.g Norton ES2/16H/OHV/SV Parts

These are the distinctive 9/32" x 26tpi BSC tapered locknuts as fitted to the Norton OHV Ball type rocker adjusters from approximately 1926-29.  These have been CNC manufactured in stainless steel to exactly the same dimensions as a Norton 1920's example.  Note we also sell the locknut with the actual adjuster - see Item 1119, but as the original nuts are often chewed or come loose and fall off - we sell them on their own here.  Price is each

This Flat Bottomed Rocker Adjuster and Tapered Locknut are to fit the first SOHC Walter Moore (i.e. Cricket Bat type) and 1930 - 1937 OHV Models.  They were fitted to CS1 models from 1927-1930 (approximately) and OHV models from 1929 - 1937.  This type of rocker adjuster were fitted to the rear rocker arms and acted directly on the valves.  We have CNC manufactured this type using an original early 1930's Norton item as the pattern and includes the correct profile locknut, with tapered bottom face, the locknut being in stainless steel.  See listing for more detail.  Price is for a single adjuster and locknut (i.e. 2 parts)

This Flat Bottomed Rocker Adjuster and Tapered Locknut are a slightly longer version of the 9163 (Std length) adjuster fitted to early SOHC engines and most OHV models up to 1937.  We modellecd this 5mm longer version on an original adjuster - that may have been modified, as at least one customer has requested a longer type.  See Listing for more information. These Cylinder Head studs are of the type fitted to pre-war OHV Valve engines in the late 1920's and early 1930's, where the design of OHV engine had seperate head studs (i.e. before the introduction of long 'through' studs. See listing for more information.  Price is per stud

This distinctively styled Cylinder Base Nut was of the design fitted to OHV singles, before the OHV design switched to 'Through Type' long cylinder studs in approximately 1935. They were also used on Side Valve engines - both types employing a coarse Whitworth cylinder stud thread. See listing for more information.  Price is per stud

This item listing is for a complete Norton OHV non-adjustable pushrod, of the type that was most commonly fitted to Norton OHV models between approximately 1930 and 1937.  The individual parts faithfully replicate those of the original Norton design.  Similar pushrods were also fitted circa pre-1930, but with different bottom pieces.  See listing for more detail on lengths and type availability.  Price is each 

This item is for a complete (single) adjustable pushrod assembly to fit the 1938-47 design of OHV Engines.  This design employed the earlier long steel pushrod tube design - but unlike the earlier design, the top piece had a screw on adjustable top cup and locknut. This item is for a spare locknut to fit 1938-37 OHV Pushrods.  These are CNC machined fron stainless steel to the same dimensions as original Norton pushrod locknuts, an original nut being used as the pattern, however we manufacture these in stainless steel.  We also sell the complete pushrod assembly - see Item 1125, but as stripped locknuts was a common issue with this pushrod design, we also sell the locknut seperately.  Price is each

This is a replacement Rocker Ball pin, to fit the front (pushrod side) rocker on 1938-1947 type OHV engines.  The profile is copied from an original pattern and the ball and shaft are hardened.  See listing for more model and fitment information.  Price is Each

Hardened Valve Cap to fit 3/8" Stem Diameter valves.  These have been CNC machined using original period 'Terry' valve caps as the pattern.  These are available in two thicknesses - state thickness when ordering.  See detail listing for more information. Price is per valve cap 

These Cylinder Head nuts are perfect copies of the design used by Norton's on 16H and Big4 Side Valve models, from the 1930's through to the end of Side Valve production in approximately 1957 - they have a distinctive deep hex and a gradual curve to the top of the nut - which was a Norton feature on many of their engine bolts. Price is per nut.

This is a 'Variable' Listing, showing various types of Norton sump plugs - as were fitted to most Norton models from the 1920's through to the 1950's, both engine and gearbox, and also some additional 'Racing' type, either drilled for Lockwire and even a couple 'Wasted' for weight saving.  All are modelled on original Norton sump plugs - with all major dimensions replicated exactly.  All 1/4"  BSP are CNC made in brass, satin nickel plated.  1/8" BSP are in stainless steel.  Price is Each, all supplied with washers.  See detail listing for full range breakdown and where they are each most commonly used

Correct (and as per original) 1/4" BSP 'One Way Valve' - as fitted to all Norton singles, including all SOHC, OHV and SV models - this item screwing into the recess just above the drive side main bearings, allowing the engine to breathe correctly. July 2023: Now back in Stock 

This is the oil delivery or return union that was fitted to the crankcases of most pre 1950 OHV and SV crankcases (as well as breathers on some of the SOHC models).  These look just as per the Norton items and are CNC machined by us in brass (as most originals were)

These Red Fibre Washers are a smaller diameter than 'normal' 1/4" BSP washers - but then pre-threaded by us - so they are a good fit on those Norton fittings that used 1/4" BSP thread, but have a groove behind the thread - e.g. Norton pre-48 Oil Sump Plugs and some breather union fittings.  See detail listing for more information.  This listing is for a bag of 5 washers

This is the small red fibre gasket that was fitted on to the lipped steel union on the outside of the gear oil pump fitted to all Side Valve and Overhead Norton models - and connected the oil feed to the outer timing cover.  We supply 2 x normal thickness as well as 3rd thinner washer -  See detail listing for more information

This is a complete crankcase and timing chest cheesehead screw set for 1930's to 1947 type OHV and Side Valve Norton single cylinder models - i.e. Model 18, ES2, Mod 19, 16H and Big 4.  It consists of full timing case inner and outer cheeseheads, Inner timing case countersink screws and crankcase sump cheesehead screw (as well as red fibre backing washers) - all of these being CNC barturned in stainless steel to the original perod Norton dimensions and head pattern.  See detail listing for  more information.
