1.k Norton Engine Bolts, Screws, Nuts, Special Washers - SOHC (and Other Single Cylinder Models)

This listing is for a stainless steel mounting stud, as used on magnetos fitted to Norton SOHC Crankcases - this being the slightly shorter version, see also Item 1168 for a longer version.  Normally there were 3 studs fitted to the base of the magneto when used on SOHC engines.  We CNC manufacture these studs to the original dimensions - but this shorter type were more often fitted to Lucas Magdyno's - see detail listing for more information before ordering.  This type of stud were also fitted to many other motorcycle makes using platform mounted magnetos.  Price is per stud

This listing is for a 'standard' magneto length nut - that fits both our Lucas and BTH magneto mounting studs on SOHC engines.  This same nut can also be used on other motorcycle marques using either Lucas and BTH platform magnetos.  These nuts are CNC manufactured to original dimensions - but have a lip on their platform facing end - so as to not damage crankcase castings if the washer is lost in fitting.  See detail listing for more informaion.  Stainless Steel, Price is Each

This listing is for a 'Long Length' magneto bolt/nut - of the type that were fitted on the rear fitting of the magneto platform on SOHC Norton engines.  This type of 'wasted' extra long nut were designed this way - because then they would protrude down beyond the rear engine plates, and so be easily accesable - to allow for magneto chain adjustment.  This extra long type were fitted to all Pre-Featherbed SOHC models.  They are CNC bar turned to the original 'wasted and 'drilled' dimensions of the original, in the correct imperial Hex stainless steel.  See detail listing for more information.  Price is Each

This listing is for a Featherbed type 'Long Length' magneto bolt/nut - of the type that were fitted on the rear fitting of the magneto platform on SOHC Norton engines.  This bolt is similar to our Item 1170, but the rear magneto mounting nut on Featherbed road models (i.e Featherbed International) were of this shorter length than the pre-Featherbed type.  They are CNC bar turned to the original 'wasted and 'drilled' dimensions of the original, in the correct imperial Hex stainless steel.  See detail listing for more information.  Price is Each

Lasercut and then dull nickel plated washers to fit the 0.5" front engine bolt (i.e. the bolt that secures the front engine plates to the frame down tube). Normal 0.5" commercially available washers are too wide, these are much closer to the original washers. Price is for a pair of washers

1/2" Stainless Steel Engine Bolt Washers, but with Reduced Outer Diameter, which are correct type for the front Norton 1/2" engine/frame bolt as used on most Norton singles, and other fittings where reduced diameter washers are required (i.e. fork spindles etc): Price is for bag of 6

Red Fibre washer that fits over most 3/8" BSP Banjo fittings, as well as 3/8" BSP Oil Tank fittings.  These washers are a good 'sized' fit - which is important for getting a good seal. These are sourced from a top quality manufacturer.  Price is for a Pair

This listing is for the special shouldered sprocket nut that was fitted to Lucas Mag/Dyno units - on all roadgoing Norton single cylinder models (but also many other makes of British motorcycles using a Lucas Mag/dyno unit, original part number 24-0195.  This nut is plated steel.  Price is Each
