These alloy lever sets are a modern copy of the original Type 534 Amal (sports) lever sets to fit 7/8" handlebars. They look to be an excellent reproduction of the original design and seem well manufactured, with adjusters and look excellent value for money.

They are supplied to us by a well known and trusted UK based distributor and look very well made, and very similar to the original Amal 534 design (from many years ago).
This type slide over the end of the handlebars and once in position are retained to the handlebar by two screws that act against the alloy castings, to clamp them to the handlebars.
We have included multiple pictures of the actual levers - so you can see how well made they look. And finally, I have included a picture of my Vincent Black Lightning rep . . . which was fitted with genuine Amal 534 levers, from when they were available 30 years ago.
We are now able to offer a full range of handlebar items for 1" handlebars - i.e. the handlebars, both non competition (shown here) and competition type clutch/brake lever sets, air and magneto levers, exhaust valve lifters (also introduced in 2025) and even a 1" horn button! - and traditional pattern handlebar rubbers - both normal and long length . . . all are available in the Handlebar and Control section
Note: These are not the rare competition style levers that were fitted to competition Racing Internationals/Manx's, these are the standard type Amal style levers fitted to many models of the 30's-50's (we do manufacture the competion type in-house in very small batch's as well - item No 0331, but they are very different from the type shown here, and the price difference reflects that, with these being a mass produced type).
