Castrol Molybdenum (Moly) Grease - 400g Cartridge Tube. This Moly grease from top quality manufacturer is an excellent heavy duty grease intended primarily for sliding, reciprocating movement like CV joints. I always keep a tub of this on the workbench and amongst other things use it on most threads when assembling restoration projects
I have used Moly grease for restoration work ever since I can remember - and even remember my father also using it in the 1960's - and being Castrol you know you can trust this will be good quality.
Castrol now supply grease in these cartridge tubes, which I believe can be placed in grease guns similar to the silicone sealent guns . . . but personally I prefer to just squeeze a quantity out into a small tub or two .. . where I can keep then keep the tub next to my current restoration project

Castrol Moly Grease is a multipurpose grease fortified with molybdenum.
Ideal for swivel and shackle lubrication, it also shows excellent performance in the lubrication of heavily loaded slow/medium speed bearings of all types and is particularly useful in preventing bearing damage caused by excessive vibration or shock loading. When exposed to extreme operating conditions, Castrol Moly Grease helps prevent the depletion of normal grease lubrication by a residual coating of the metal surface with molybdenum disulphide to give 'dry' or 'solid' lubrication. Castrol Moly Grease also has an application in sliding motions where the prevention of scuffing is desirable and may be used in dry or moist conditions.
It is not recommended for use in small, high speed ball and roller bearings.
