Gasket Set to Fit Original Amal 289 Type (flange fitting) Carburettors

Gasket set to fit original (flange fitting) Amal 289 carburettors.  Set consists of 6 nice quality washers. 

This set can also be fitted to clip fitting versions of the 289 carb - but obviously  the large flange washer would not be used

As you can see from the photographs, I have shown a photograph of an earlier Amal 276 stub/clip fitting Norton carburetto - as I do not have an original complete 289 type - but they are very similar to the 276 type, being just slightly larger throttle bore, but still having a seperate floatchamber. and being of pre-Monoblock type. I am not sure if Amal made a clipl fitting 289 - but if you have one of these, although the other washers will fit - you would not require the large flange washer.

The second photograph shows the body of a Amal 276/289 type flange fitting carb body - which is fitted to a Norton ES2 flange fitting inlet stub, which superceded the clip fitting stub in early 1950's - which would make use of the flange gasket if you have this type of carb fitted
