Lucas 1950s Type 22B/31383 Brake Light Switch

This is a genuine Lucas Type 22B/31383 rear Brake Light Switch, from their Classic range.  Brake light switch's of this type and shape were fitted to Norton single models Including OHV and SOHC International models) of the 1950's, possibly into the early 1960's  

I can remember removing having an original Lucas brake switch of this type fitted to a 1955 OHV ES2 model we had back in the 1970's - although that was an original old and tatty one, unlike these .. . it was held together with Araldite!.
