This is a facsimile copy of the Norton 1934 Spare Parts List and is invaluable for any owner of a 1934 Norton model (or actually any pre-war model of similar type - as many part numbers stayed unchanged until postwar) as it lists and shows a small picture of almost every part for that year.
This facsimile is enlarged from the original A5 format to A4 to make it clearer to see.
If you are familiar with the Norton spare parts catalogs of the 1930's you will know they are of a very different format to the later 'exploded diagrams' used by Norton's post war (and most other manufacturers as well).
The pre-war format consisted of a 'photograph like' picture of each individual item, many of these pictures being so small and badly printed that they are very difficult to view. The original size for these catalogs was A5 format. - Because of this difficulty to view clearly the catalog in its original format, I have reproduced this pre-war catalog in a much clearer and easier to view A4 size, which is considerably larger than the orginal.
Added to this, I have made some effort to enhance the clarity of the items so I think they are of more use to the restorer now. However, the cover, layout and content are exactly as per original - These are high quality facsimile's printed on a commercial quality printer using the best quality named brand paper and a card cover of similar quality to the original.
A fascinating insight into the Norton range of early 1930's (and many SOHC parts shown continued until the end of production!)
