BTH KD1 Magneto - HT Pick Up

These are a good quality reproduction of the original bakelite KD1 pick up to fit BTH KD1 magnetos - particularly the competition BTH TT and Dirt Track magnetos.

These are a nice quality black plastic reproduction of the original BTH vertical type KD1 pickup, which were originally made in bakelite.  As many owners will know - even if they still have their original bakelite pickup fitted - bakelite becomes brittle with age and can easily chip or crumble (I unfortunately have broken at least one original item over the years), while this version is much more durable.  

It has the brass tube on its underneath to fit the pickup brush - whcih we sell seperately: Item 0183.

We also sell the cork washer that fits underneath the pickup, as well as the correct BTH specific shallow headed screws - Item 0182.  All parts can be found in the same magneto section as these pickups.

Note, it is always worth fitting a rubber hood over the HT lead, top of pickup - as were normally fitted originally, to keep out water and dirt. We also offer these in the same section
