1.j Norton Gaskets/Seals for SOHC, OHV, SV Models

Commercial quality ThreeBond silicone gasket mateial, Type 1215 - 250g Tube and applicator - in Grey colour.  I have been using this high quality silicone sealer for gasket application for about 20 years - and in my opnion there is no finer silicone gasket material available.  This 250g tube should last most restorers a good period of time.  We also sell Type 1207B Black silicone sealant in 100g tubes.  See listing for more detail.  Price is Each

Paper gasket to fit all SOHC cambox back plate/cambox. This gasket is made specially for us and is virtually identical to the original Norton rear cambox washer listed in pre-war Spare Parts catalog.

This shim is a replacement for the original Norton 'ipped static distance piece shim' that was normally fitted behind the outermost ball bearing on SOHC (i.e. Model 30/40 and Model 30M/40M) models - effectively acting as a thin distance piece to hold the bearing away from the rear wall of the Driveside Main Bearing Housing.  Please read detail listing before ordering.  Price is Each

This is the base barrel gasket of the shape originally fitted to all single cylinder 500cc models through the 1930's.  It also continued for Side Valve engines post-war, but can also be used on other 500cc post war models. Manufactured from high grade and slightly pliable oil jointing material.  See listing detail for more information

47 thou (1.2mm) thickness Stainless Steel Compression Plate. This really is a useful item andwill save you an awful lot of time with a fretsaw and file.  Used to amend compression ratio, fitted to base of barrel.

Correct (and as per original) 1/4" BSP 'One Way Valve' - as fitted to all Norton singles, including all SOHC, OHV and SV models - this item screwing into the recess just above the drive side main bearings, allowing the engine to breathe correctly. July 2023: Now back in Stock
