Douglas 2 3/4hp - Valve Collar and Retaining Pin - Modified DesignProduct no.: 0729 DG234_018This is the valve retaining collar of the type fitted to Douglas 2 3/4hp models, used to retain the valve springs by means of this collar and a steel pin that fitted through a hole at the end of the valve. This type has slightly modified design over the original - having an additional milled slot, to help retain the pin and prevent collar spinning around the valve (see detail listing for more information). Amac HYK Carb ((i.e. for Douglas 2 3/4hp) - Amended/Lipped Main Jet Nut and WashersProduct no.: 1095 DG234_1644DThis item is an amended (lipped) type of bottom main jet holder, to fit early Amac carburettors - i.e. the HYK type, as fitted to Douglas 2 3/4hp Models (as listed 1919 -21 as part number 1644D). The original Amac type main jet nut relied on a very narrow chamfer to create its seal, when screwing it in to secure the float chamber - and certainly on the original nuts I have, seem very susceptable to leaking. This design has added a lipped flange and red fibre washer - which seats to the machined face of Amac floatchambers to prevent leakage. See detail listing for more information.
