John Bull Barrel Handlebar Grips - 1"

These handlebar grips are a little bit special! - they are the large barrel shape 'John Bull' grips that were fitted to some competition Norton's as well as other similar bikes (i.e. Velo KTT's) in the 1920's - 1930's. They are only to fit 1" handlebars and are very sizeable to the feel - being just over 6" in length and just over 1.5" in diameter at their thickest part - so they feel very big and 'period'. If you look at the second picture, you will see a lovely period photo of a Cammy Norton fitted with this style of handlebar grip, and the third photo shows my Big Plunger 1938 Manx also fitted with a similar picture (although note - when I fitted them to my bike, I chose to cut away the rubber ends which are fitted on the ones I supply). Sorry to say - these come from my specialist UK supplier and are definitely not cheap - but are quite special and a lovely finishing touch if you have a late 20's to mid 30's bike
